Howdy ladies and gents of the internet, today I am here to share my spoiler-based thoughts on Avengers: Endgame via my podcast Film Focus. Now I know not everyone has seen the film yet, but I had to get this out as soon as possible for those who have. Also, this film has so much packed into it that it would be impossible to highlight everything that happened in its 3-hour runtime, but there’s a lot of stuff that I had to say about the story, characters, presentation and this film’s ties to other films in the MCU. So be prepared for a looser, less structured episode where I talk about most of the things that stood out to me in a very passionate and emotional way haha.
P.S. A couple of things to keep in mind:
- I do get a little loud from time to time so mind your headphone volume.
- Around 16:17 I mention Gamora when I meant to Nebula, so apologies for that mix-up.
Anyway here’s the episode 78:

I loved your energy in this episode! I’ve been waiting for Cap to wield Mjolnir for years! I’m so happy that we finally got that moment and the way the film set it up was perfect. I wish Captain Marvel had more of a presence since she is one of my favorite comic characters. When I first heard rumors that this movie would use time travel I was hoping that it wouldn’t go that route but I liked the way they did it. There is so many great moments in this film that reminded us why we love these characters.
It’s been so great watching these movies for the last 11 years. To think where the genre started and has grown in that time blows my mind. I really liked that while there is still a future for the MCU, this felt like a finale of the current era and a true and proper send off.

Haha thanks man, I wasn’t sure if it was too much, but its kind of hard to contain oneself when you’re talking about a film like this. 😛
Like you I’m pleased that the was a sense of closure and finality to this current run of the MCU. And I’m so very curious to see what future phases look like. I’m also gonna drop by and read your review soon dude! 😀
