Premiere Date & New Posters Revealed For Marvel’s Daredevil!

07 Jan

Howdy people of the internet, time for small yet important piece of news surrounding the upcoming TV adaptation of Daredevil. The following info and images comes from superherohype:

With production having officially wrapped two weeks ago, Netflix has announced a series premiere date for “Marvel’s Daredevil” of April 10, while Marvel itself has debuted both a standard and motion poster, both of which you can check out below!

Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with executive producers Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus”), Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) and Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods), the full 13-episode season will be made available globally upon release in all territories where Netflix is available.

So we have a release date, a new poster and a motion poster too and while none of this compares to having an actual trailer, for now it’ll do. At least we have a confirmed date for when the series will start and it is April, nice. So when this show airs it’ll be in between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and just before Avengers 2 so there’ll be plenty of Marvel material to go around. As for the new poster, I like it, has a nice style and choice of colours. As for the motion trailer? Looks alright, I would have prefered to have an actual trailer, but hey that’s just me.

Hopefully we’ll get a trailer soon, because footage is something that fans require at this point. Sure we’ve been getting a few images here and there but to truly get a good idea of what a TV show will be like, you need a trailer.

Oh man, this motion poster trailer/teaser is getting me pumped up for the show. The use of sound and the heartbeat is very cool too. This show along with the other upcoming Marvel shows is a big reason why I came back to Netflix.

It does had a bit of atmosphere I must admit, I just want a trailer so I can get a better understanding of what’s in store because I’m not overly familiar with the comics.
